During our visit to Sami on Kefalonia, we found an excellent restaurant with a wide and varied menu. Everything we ordered was fantastic — the shrimp dishes were fresh and flavorful, tzatziki was creamy and rich, and the pizza was simply the best we’ve had on the island: perfectly baked with fresh ingredients. The Aperol Spritz was refreshing and beautifully served, complementing the meal perfectly. The setting was calm, with lovely views of the sea and mountains, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. Such a lovely little place! My partner and I came here after visiting melissani lake 10/10 would recommend. Both of our pastas were cooked beautifully I had a spicy tomato pasta and my partner had the fisherman’s pasta. They even got us some garlic bread even though it’s not on the menu. Our server was so kind and accommodating too. Would definitely recommend

The food here is delicious! We ate here 3 nights out of 10! My favourite was the beef calf, a must try if you haven't already.
The mini chocolate ice creams they bring out after are really tasty and a really nice way to finish off the meal.
But most importantly the service here is absolutely fantastic. The waiters are really friendly, happy to assist taking photos and giving advice about the island and they remember your face too.

We had great pizza here! The service was excellent. We went on a stormy night, so we had to be moved inside mid-way through dinner, but it was all handled very well. Would definitely recommend

My wife was stunged by a wasp, and the staff immediately came with a creme and gave a helping hand. Oh yeah, the spaghetti was great!! So, good food and a perfect service!!! The real highlight, though, was the staff – incredibly friendly with outstanding service from start to finish. They made us feel genuinely welcome, and it added so much to the whole experience. Popular, friendly place for an evening meal with a menu that pleased both teenagers and adults - was voted the majority favourite, so we ate here again on our last night in Sami. Mainly Italian food, with a big range of pizzas, pasta and risotto - small and slightly pedestrian section of traditional Greek mains (the Greek starters were very nice). Staff were super helpful and very personable. Good range of drinks including the very good Kefalonian microbrewery beer and a selection of Robola wines by the bottle. It’s buzzy but relaxed, if you’re after something upmarket / romantic waterside dining / a late night music bar vibe, then there are other places further along, but this is a a very good option for relaxed family eating and is handily central and near to the harbour car parking.- Είδος γεύματος

We had such a lovely dinner here the other week while staying near Sami! We sat right near the water, had great pizza and cocktails. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming, and we had nice conversations! This is a must stop when you’re visiting Sami- very relaxing and quality food.

atmosphere is gorgeous. i came here with my girlfriend and her parents on holiday and i loved eating here honestly.

A family run restaurant, Taverna....that we keep going back to, especially for the Mexicana pizza. The village sausage used on this pizza will please people that "like it hot". You are greeted as if you are family. Try it, you'll like it.
